RIDER DOWN ASSISTANCE NETWORK

Motorcycles are dangerous. Any of us, at any time, under any circumstances, can become a Rider Down – there is no discrimination. In Western Colorado, help is available to downed riders and their families through the Rider Down Assistance Network – a nonprofit coordinated effort of local motorcycle groups and individuals who are working together to help motorcyclists who have gone down while riding.

Rider Down is available to assist anyone involved in a motorcycle accident, regardless of their affiliations, memberships, race, creed, color, or religious beliefs.    No questions are asked and no judgments are made.

Downed riders and their families have immediate needs, including short term financial assistance, legal advice, visitation and rehabilitaton support, household chores, transportation, assistance retrieving the bike and many others. The Rider Down Assistance Network is here to help.

This is how it works.
When a rider goes down, a call, email or website form is submitted/placed to the Rider Down coordinator. The coordinator determines the rider’s needs and posts those needs on the Rider Down Assistance Network – putting a call out for assistance to all Western Slope motorcycle groups and individuals who are part of the Rider Down Assistance Network. People who are available to respond to the rider’s needs contact the coordinator and are put in contact with the downed rider. Help is fast, simple, with no questions asked, and with no charges.
